Report of Inaugural Ceremony of ‘MITHRA 2K16’
Sacred Heart Public School had a spectacular launch of MITHRA 2K16. The inaugural event for Alumni association was held on December 26th, in the School Auditorium. The event started at 4:00pm with a short prayer, followed by the lighting of the lamp and the speeches of the dignitaries. Mr. Paul Mundadan, Chairman of FISAT Engineering College, Mookkannur was the chief guest on the occasion and delivered the inaugural address.
The meeting was chaired by Rev. Dr. Varghese Manjaly CST (School Administrator), Br. Tomy Njarakulam CST and Br. Martin Menchery CST (Former Principals) felicitated on the occasion. Mr. George Joseph, Principal as the president of the association, presided over the function and he stressed on the need for Alumni Association, especially for the multifaceted developments of the School.
The benign presence of Four Music Band team, music directors of the famous film OPPAM, made the event a colourful one. It was musical combat which conquered all our hearts.
Ms. Ann Susan Paul welcomed all the guests and Mr. Jerin (Vice- President), Ms. Meenu Mariya (Secretary), Mr. Amal (Treasurer), Mr. Ronyson (Joint Secretary), and teacher representatives were present. The Staff, Office Bearers and the Executive Members as well, expressed their whole hearted willingness to extend their selfless service for the same. The event was well attended by alumni from different batches, ranging from 2008 through 2015.
It was a memorable evening for all the alumni members who came to meet with their old friends and beloved teachers. The gala event was seasoned by memory sharing, songs, dance, DJ Party and sumptuous refreshment. Students were very enthusiastic and entertained all throughout the function.
The meeting and the event adjourned at 8.30 pm. on a very happy note with all the good wishes of the Administrator, Principal, Faculty, and others. The event was a grand success where more than 220 students from different batches attended the program. The students were very eager to participate in the upcoming events and are looking forward for the next session…!
